November 5-9

Reading - We are reading Rich Gets Big, A Butterfly Grows and Caterpillars.  We are learning about the digraph /ch/, high frequency words (air, fly, friends, grew, need, play, rain, watch), sequencing, adding the es and names of days and months. 

They will bring their reader home on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.  They will have reading homework Monday - Thursday.

Math - We will be doing 4.7 about problem solving.  We will then begin reviewing for our chapter 4 test on Friday.

Writing - We will be writing about sequencing, days and months, Harvest Time, If I Were a Pilgrim and writing to a friend.

HW - Gg, G words, Jj, J words

Phonics - Assessment, silent e and Contractions
